Free Tutorial: Learn How To Use The New Lightning Web Components Open Source (LWC OSS / lwc.dev)

Because I am preparing to speak at India TDX (Bangalore, December 2019) on Lightning Web Components Open Source (LWC.OSS / lwc.dev), and because of the lack of good quality information on this topic, I have updated the tutorial that will help you learn about this awesome technology Salesforce has put together!

This tutorial walks you step by step on the construction of an LWC OSS project with SLDS that gets published as:

• Two options of adding SLDS to a LWC.OSS project: Using Native and Synthetic Shadow DOM
• Running LWC.OSS inside a basic Node.js webserver
• Running LWC.OSS inside a complex Node.js webserver
• Building a native (Windows and Mac) desktop application using Electron with a user interface built using LWC.OSS

I start with the demo that was shown in TDX19, but that just scratches the surface of LWC.OSS development and does not cover many of the difficult parts of working with this awesome technology. I explain some of the techniques that I found most challenging while working on these projects, hopefully, so you do not make the same mistakes I did :-)

My goal is to give you some good boilerplate projects, but with a clear understanding of the code, which you can use to start building your own projects.
