Hi there!

Coming away from the end of another week - and thankfully a bank holiday weekend here in the UK, it's hard to believe that we are already in May.??

Last week?I completed my training with Cosmic 'Digital Leadership for SMEs' and we really finished in a high, learning about automation within Microsoft 365 which was the part I was really looking forward to, and I was not disappointed.? The ball will start rolling soon for us as a company to move from Google to MS365 and I am chomping at the bit to play about with CoPilot, PowerBI and Power Automate.? Luckily I've been able to benefit from the funding that Cosmic have secured and Maddy and I will be doing another course specifically to learn about these and other MS365 tools in June.? We will obviously share our learning here with you.

I also met with fellow local businesswoman Angela from Angela Consulting, to do another Escape Room!? Work is so full on at the moment, taking an hour out to?do something like this really gives me the break I need to use my brain in a different way and get away from the screen.

I also escaped (see what I did there?) the office last Wednesday to help?our client John Harvey to host Exeter's first?FuckupNights?event which went brilliantly, with my intern Katie along to help me with the registration desk and explaining how the evening would work.? It was a brilliant evening, the aim of these events being to normalise failure and to talk about them as?much as we do our successes.? If you know anyone local to Exeter who has a failure they might want to come and share, do put them in touch - our next event is on 12th September.

Google Digital Garage Mentoring

Google offer free 1-to-1 mentoring with digital experts. You will be paired with a Google Digital Garage mentor who will provide expert guidance in areas such as building a digital marketing strategy and using social media to reach new customers. Mentoring sessions are available for UK-based small businesses and charities only and run for 60 minutes on Google Meet.
