Free online Series: Research and Career Journey in Bioinformatics

In our attempt to democratize Bioinformatics, we are launching a series of motivational seminars from the leaders in the field. We hope this will help our budding bioinformatician to connect with them and take inspiration from their journey.

Theme

In the theme of this series, we are planning to have two seminars or talks from the speakers:

Research Talk: To understand what they do and how they do it.

Career Journey Talk: To understand how did they switch from one position to another.

Inaugural Speaker

Laura Harris, Ph.D.: She is currently working as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at NeuroX1

She has an inspiring journey to share with us.

On April 26th, she will be talking about "Meta-analysis approaches on NGS, SARS, and Cancer datasets"

On April 28th, She will be enlighting our participants with her "Bioinformatics Story".

This is worthwhile to notice that she has been in teaching and academia, and now transitioned to industry.

There is a lot to learn from her journey, so don't miss out and invite your friends to be a part of this awesome series.
