Free Music - Art - Books
The Internet Archive
Dearest FaithFul Followers.
Today's ode is short, but, hopefully very very useful. I have become tired to the bone of these forever push advertisements on music and video. And if I wanted to subscribe to any of it, then it would cost me an arm and a leg, yet, the 95% of the money would never reach the musician, but only producers who always can find reasons to over charge the listener without paying the musicians properly.
So. I am writing to you to tell you about the "Internet Archive" - which I have visited for the first time, today. I have listened to a piece of music, of Chopin, played by some Joseph Hofmann somewhere back in 1929. Here is the link:
Now - this was for free. However. I will be looking for places where I can pay to this internet archive, on a regular note. They apparently have videos, music, texts, novells being read (For instance, "The Invisible Man" and many other titles), books etc. etc. - it is a well of information and music, and delightedly without any of the push advertisements which are marring any of the online channels nowadays.
Well. Enjoy my dear followers. Surely you need peace from the Advertisement Drums. Please all of you remember to donate if possible to the Internet Archive. I will from now be donating a little USD 1 per month. That is fair and square as per my very modest use of it :-).. If we all do the same, then maybe we can kill that rat of advertisements.
Have a wonderful day
