Hi everyone,
I am guessing that many of you have seen, heard, or been a freebie
seeker at one time or another (Hey, what's better than free content,
right?
Has anyone had or seen any success in converting true freebie seekers
into customers? For example, does it work best to throw a $1 offer out
there to get the ball rolling, or do the seekers just tend to stick
with the $1 item and wait for the next one to pop up? Etc.?

As you know, I use $1 offers in the beginning of a lot of my funnels.
Why?
Because ANYTHING is better than having a bunch of free loading
peasants and commoners on your email list.
I know that sounds harsh, yet we're all adults here.
Why pussyfoot around the obvious?
Don't know about you, yet I got into business to make money; not
to get praise from poor people.
Thing is, even selling a $1 product in the very beginning can have a
dramatic impact on your response from those buyers over a period.
A buyer is a buyer is a buyer is a bloody buyer.
Sure, not the same as a high ticket buyer, yet at least you know who
has a credit card - and permission to use it.
That's pretty big, right?
Right.
Yet there is a caveat to this, amigo.
You see, EVERYTHING else that comes after the $1 purchase is just as
important.
No point getting ANYONE (freebie or $1 buyer) onto your email list if
you have no idea how to market to them effectively once they're...
well... there.
Makes sense doesn't it?
This is why most of the advice given online in the MMO market is
worthless to most people.
How so?
Because there's NO one step to success.
It all works together.
From traffic - to the right kind of squeeze page that ONLY opts in
specific people - to a great offer - and then onto the most important
part of all...

The communication via email.
That IS the most important part to get right.
Not traffic (list building)
Not the squeeze page (list building)
Not the offer (indoctrinating)
Yet the emails you send (Email Marketing)
Everything works together, yet even if you fuck most of the other
stages up to some degree (which most people do anyway) - you can still
do well once you are dealing with people interested in the market or
niche you are communicating to them in.
Yet you MUST do TWO things:
1) Get the attention
2) Redirect that attention onto your offer
Very few can do this well.
Others can't do it at all.
It's not their fault, though.?
Unfortunately we live in regurgitated times where strategies and
tactics are filtered down through a system that's inherently broken.
The myths come thick and fast - and worst of all - those myths are not
obvious to the less clued in. AKA the acluistic.
In most cases, it's a simple case of not knowing what you don't know -
and so it's easy enough to stick your head in the sand and follow what
the majority are doing.
Yet the majority are always wrong.
What you want to be doing, now more than ever, is going in a different
direction than the majority, yet at the same time, still following a
proven formula.
That's the key to success with email marketing.
