Yesterday LinkedIn released some new updates. No surprise... they are doubling down on short video EVEN MORE.

The updates include:

• New short video experience on desktop
• More robust analytics for short videos (like average watch time)
• Short videos will be suggested when people search for experts or topics on LinkedIn (this is HUGE)

What does this mean:

• If you do not create short videos you will not exist on the short video feed
• If you do not create short videos and a prospect is searching for someone with your expertise you decrease your chances off being suggested
• More of your competitors will start to post short video because they platform is encouraging them to do so
