Free Kindy in 2024!

The Queensland Government is redefining the landscape of Early Childhood Education by making Kindy accessible and affordable for all families.

How?

Commencing from the 1st of January 2024, the Queensland Government is launching a new program called 'Free Kindy'; which is set to modernize how we view Early Education in the Sunshine State.

Free Kindy & What You Need To Know:

Free Kindy ensures that eligible children attending a government-approved program can access 15 hours a week or a total of 600 hours per year of FREE Kindy, paving the way for quality Early Education.*

This means that more than 50,000 additional children will gain access to Kindy for free! This is a huge leap towards ensuring that every child in Queensland has an equal opportunity for a strong start in their educational journey.
