A free, human-centric, intro-to-coding course in the time of COVID-19, hosted by Stanford University

Is it no secret that the last 12 months have indeed been tough. From Racism, too a deadly global pandemic, (and seemingly everything in between) it has been a struggle to find moments of optimism in such a relentless storm.

Stanford's Code in Place, at a time when so many are fighting to stay afloat, is an incredible opportunity to level the playing field and impact the lives of many. This years iteration of Code in Place (following up the success of Code in Place 2020) is set to be one of the largest classes ever to take place in human history (that's not a joke). Code in Place 2020 boasted over 1,000 real live human teachers changing the lives of more than 10,000 learners across the globe...

Programmers, We need your help!

The thing that makes Code in Place special is the humans. If you know how to code, we need your help to teach a small section of 10 students. While it may seem like a small act, this quite possible has the potential to change a students life. Find out more about the process, FAQ's, and the application here: https://codeinplace.stanford.edu/teach.
