Free Experis Tech Talent Factor Report

I am making this offer because I simply cannot take it anymore. Our clients desperately need a way to factor talent into their technology purchasing decisions. For reasons unknown to me the availability of technical talent is almost never considered when companies pull the trigger on a major software buy.

We ran into it again earlier this week. My team was asked to help build a team at one of our prized clients. Building teams aligned to major technology and business initiatives is something we strive to be the best at. But, as we began planning our approach and doing our research we found this. The core skillset is readily available. There is excellent talent aligned to this skillset working throughout our region.

Then we dug into the technology, or software, experience required and found three companies across the entire United States that appear to be using the software. One of them was the company that makes the software. I had to bite my tongue when talking with our client but I wanted to scream 'how on earth could a company of your stature have selected a software that nobody can use!?!?' Not only did they select it, purchase it for a significant amount of capital, but they are building out a mission-critical strategy that will live on this new platform. Worth mentioning the software does not align with a new concept. It is simply a new software being used for a mature concept. There are several other widely used and proven platforms on the market.
