Customers are sharing information with me daily on how their lives have been already affected by Covid-19. Many are seeking additional help because their jobs are now uncertain, some have had recent job offers withdrawn (AAHHHH!) and others have reached out because they’ve wanted to check if I am ok! (I actually love my customers).
It’s business as usual here because as a CV & LinkedIn Writer I get to work from home anyway and my kids are now self-sufficient pizza guzzling teenagers who can get through a game of scrabble without bashing each other over the head. I am definitely one of the lucky ones in this situation and I want to help my customers as much as possible during this time.
Over the next few months I will keep you updated with useful practical information relating to careers and job searching that may help you or other people in your lives. This will include updates on which companies are hiring, volunteering opportunities and anything else that fits into the 'damn useful/good to know category'.
