Our team of analysts recently attended the CIIF - China International Industry Fair, in Shanghai. As a leading event for manufacturing industries, experts and thought leader showcased the latest in smart and sustainable manufacturing supply chain technologies and innovations.

Trends we observed at the show included humanoid robots and AI. Humanoid robots were most notably showcased by collaborative robot suppliers - where they currently still complement each other, rather than replace each other. AI related displays were prevalent, though applications are still in early stages, primarily as support tools for programming or customer service.
