Free accessibility training series: Select

Installment 2 of my free accessibility training series focuses on the much maligned select element.

Read the origin story and the first lesson: Checkbox.

When thoughtfully used, a select is an excellent method of collecting form data. When used in ways that are… shall we say overly thoughtful, they can be a terrible experience for all people.

What I'm also giving away

For those who don't know, AtomicA11y.com is my attempt at writing a design and code manifesto; it's not intended to be packaged into a curriculum. It's a very opinionated quick reference app with code examples.

TheBookOnAccessibility.com is more about enterprise program management than a technical manual (though it's still quite opinionated). Most of it is free, and there's a steep non-profit discount.
