If you use a cell phone or a computer there are almost an endless number of people and companies that “watch” your every move.

“They” know the location of your cell phone (even if the GPS is off). They can estimate you physical location based on your cell phone.

“They” track every tab you open and every ad you click, even your mouse movements when you’re on a computer.

Every email and text message is also tracked and archived somewhere by the individual companies and or by the government.

Every credit card transaction is tracked and stored. They’re not stored all that well, and you can judge that from the number of massive credit card breaches that have and continue to occur.

There are cameras set up and watching you at every toll booth and many intersections too, so smile.

It would be nice if I could offer some type of easy self-help tip here or some plan of action to protect your data and your privacy, but I can’t.

The amount of tech has blown by me years ago and is changing on a daily basis.

The best I can offer at this point is that yes this is a problem. The problem will continue to grow.

And, sadly there is little you can do to affect it.
