Freaking February

OMG, what can I say, February has been freaking tough, twists and turns, ups and downs through every week. At one point I had lost a significant amount of my income from March onwards which on top of an operation where I am currently unable to do my side hustle to make up income until around Easter Time was a scary point.

Instead of ranting on Social Media about the negatives and blaming the world and his wife, I have kept my marketing strong and positive. Leads are slow but trickling in and I have contacted a couple of people in my network whose own social media posts gave me a nudge.

I met people at various events including, The East Lincolnshire Expo, Link 4 Business and Buzz Networking and also caught up with a few at 1-2-1 coffee meetings.

One thing I have noticed so far in 2024 is the number of people after free information or work, while I understand it is good to help and support each other, taking the piss out of people for using their expert knowledge or skills for free is not! This is why I have now introduced Power Hours and Discovery Calls will be no longer than 30 minutes.

Not to mention I foiled a rather dodgy suspect in my local networking circles after background checks and due diligence were done. I decided to refuse to work with them as too many red flags ??for me. You have got to have your wits about you no matter the size or type of business you are in!

Now my gallbladder operation is done and I am working on making a full recovery, it will be full steam ahead for March and beyond.

What's coming up, looking forward to Easter ?? with family, and the clocks ?? going forward, as well as working on getting new clients with the spare capacity I have.
