The FranNet Spring Conference

I just got back from the FranNet Spring Conference.? It was a very busy three and a half days of talking with franchisors. We spent about 10 minutes speed dating with different franchisors.? We learn about the opportunities, what's changed, what's new, and what's exciting.? What was a common theme?? How technology is changing our industry. ? It is amazing what technology is bringing to design concepts, fitness, and most surprisingly pet care!

Why is it Important for You?

Why is that important for you? Well, it gives me a keen understanding of the different franchise systems, the role of the owner, how that matches to your values, motives, skill sets, and what you're looking to achieve. So, after you take your Entrepreneur Profile, we create a list of businesses where you are like top performers. ? Then we will sit down to build a business model of what you consider the best characteristics of a business. ? When we do sit down I will focus on the new things I have learned about the industries and current market trends.? I'll be looking at what's going on with that business today, and maybe not what happened a while ago. ? We will be looking at how the business has grown and what has changed.

When you think about starting a business, understanding what could help you to launch faster, or how the franchise differentiates itself is important.

Networking

We also spend quite a bit of time networking at the FranNet Spring Conference. I won't say that there aren't any cocktails at the cocktail party, but it was a great opportunity to find out who their top performers are, what they look like, and how to match YOU appropriately. ? We heard first hand about owners who are successful and if they are struggling, and why.
