Francis Icaza - Interpreter
Born in Kensington, England in the UK, I have provided English and Spanish simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for numerous private sector clients as well as federal agencies of the United States government for close to 25 years. I have taken and passed the examination given by the Consortium for State Court Interpreter Certification.
In both the private and public sectors under contract to Allied Conference Inc., where I hold the position of Senior Conference Interpreter and also with Conference Tech, Inc., of Miami, I have provided services for innumerable clients, specializing in legal matters, law enforcement, trafficking and smuggling of persons, drug trafficking, money laundering, asset forfeiture, witness protection, public relations, international trade, mediations and conflict resolution, women and children’s rights, technology and the Internet, marketing, finance, banking operations, sales, merchandising, human resources, the stock market, international trade, mergers and acquisitions, the Panama Canal and many other areas.
In the field of medicine, I have interpreted at conferences for as many as 12 medical specialities as well as medical research, studies and clinical trials for medical specialities and on the subject of many of the pharmaceuticals and therapies used in each medical specialization.
Also, under contract to Allied Conference Inc., I have interpreted at over 80 United Nations meetings and conferences over the years.
Privileged to have been called upon by The Center for Justice & Accountability of San Francisco, CA., I have served as lead interpreter in US Civil Federal Court for 7 human rights and crimes against humanity civil cases,
