When you think of franchising, most people think of fast food and retail. In fact, when I give a presentation on franchising to a group, I will have them start naming franchises to me. Typically, they'll name somewhere between 6 and 12 franchises, and the common denominator is always fast food and retail.?
A Variety of Different Choices
What I want you to know is that there's all kinds of different choices out there. In fact, there's over 3000 different franchises and over 90 different industries.?
Some of the hottest industries that we see today are semi-absentee franchises. These are franchises that are designed for people who either have a part-time job, a full-time job, own other businesses, want to diversify their income or just want to have something to do.?
Common Franchise Categories
Some of the other common franchises are home-based and office based.? These are franchises that cost less than $150,000, so they are very affordable and very service oriented.? There are all kinds of different franchises in that category.?
Other hot categories that our clients will look at are health, fitness, child related, senior care and senior services.?
Just know that there's all kinds of different choices out there. What's most important is that you find the franchise that is right for YOU.?
