Franchising is 'happening' all over Asia
FRANCHISING CONTINUES TO GO PLACES
I think it is quite accurate to say that the franchising events around the world that I participate in (as speaker and exhibitor) are a strong reflection of the popularity of franchising. In chronological order: IFA Convention Las Vegas(by IFA) in February , Myanmar Franchise Expo (new. by 981 Creative) in March, Food&Hotel Vietnam + Franchise Seminar(by Allworlds/SES) in April, Franchising Trends in ASIA (by Saigon Entrepreneurs Association) in April, IP Seminar + Franchising (by Intellectual Property Office, Singapore) in May, ThaiFex World of Food + Franchising (by Koelnmesse in Bangkok), IFRA (by Dyndra with AFI in Jakarta), Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum on Franchising (by MOIT, Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City) in June, Chainstore & Franchise Forum (by Doers in Beijing ) in June, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry ( June 25th in Singapore), Macao Intl Franchise Expo ( July 3-5), TFBO (July 16-19 in Bangkok), FLEI ( Sep 11-13 by Reed in Jakarta), and others in September ( Malaysia -ARFF, Thailand- RetailEx&FranchiseEx, China--CCFA's)...
And I have got a few more lined up -- World Franchise Council Meeting ( Brisbane in October 9-11), EduCon k-12 (by IBC Singapore on Oct 20), Franchising & Licensing Asia ( by FLA Singapore Oct 29-31), VietRF ( Nov 5-7 by COEX in HCMC), HKTDC's Franchise Expo ( by HKTDC on Dec 3-5 in Hong Kong)...
Not included above are shows my international partners and/or my own team-members attend-- e.g. Korea's in March; China's in May, etc...
I think my message is clear enough. May all of us excel in all our ways.
