Franchise Friday: Real Talk

This week has been super busy training a new franchise team for Apollo.. Apollo Care Manchester will be launching very soon.

During the training process, I’ve been reflecting on what we offer to our new franchise teams and the help and support I had when I was starting my business alone. The difference is worlds apart!

Our franchisees are given EVERYTHING they need to grow and sustain a successful business with a team of professionals to support them with business growth and management.

And that is why I love and advocate franchising for business expansion and business growth, it’s a win for all parties.

However, Its also so very important to take the right type of people into your franchise family to ensure its success and protect your brand at all levels.

I talk a lot about defining your Ideal Franchisee Avatar (IFA) and structuring your enquiry process and onboarding around this and the type of people you are looking for.

You can offer the best franchise package in your industry and provide the best information but if this is delivered to the wrong people for your business model, it will always fall down.

Training my new team this week, I’ve been excited to hear their business plans and talk about their passion for improving care standards in their area. I can see that this team will be perfect to represent my brand in a whole new area and I am looking forward to supporting them on their business journey.

Franchisors know their business better than anybody else and the recruitment and selection of franchisees is a major part of their role. Its great to hire recruitment companies to help with this but its so important that the final decision lies with you.
