Our December Franchise Feature is Genna Bohlman!

Genna is a Minnesota Area Developer and opened her first location this fall in Wayzata. Genna shares her background, experiences and how she became a franchisee.

"I was born and raised in Minnesota, graduating from the College of Saint Benedict with an undergraduate degree in Economics. I began a 16-year corporate retail career at TargetTM?in Inventory Management, then progressed into Buying, Planning, and ultimately Strategy and Operational leadership roles. The culture, the people, and the tangible?results of my work drove me to continually climb the ladder. However, during the last two years I began to feel drawn away from the Fortune 50 corporate life. As a result, I started researching a variety of potential career pivots.

When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, my husband and I were both on endless Zoom calls, while also trying to teach two elementary schoolers from home. The urgency to make a change had never been stronger, but I felt like I was making no progress, so I enlisted the help of a career coach. She helped me to hone in on my values, the characteristics of my ideal company and role, as well as the the non-negotiable items I needed to feel fulfilled each day at work and at home.?The output of that work was that Franchising was the perfect blend of my heart & hustle mentality, the desire to own a small business, maintain the community and camaraderie that I appreciated?at Target, while also leveraging my diverse business experience and skills.

Enter FACE FOUNDRIé! I've struggled with?my skin for my entire life, and I had become a client about six months before the pandemic. The education I received and results I was seeing were life-changing. When the announcement?of Franchise expansion came, I jumped at the opportunity immediately! Within 24 hours, I was on the phone with Michele Henry clarifying the Mission and Vision, as well as how we would work together to collectively?support the Twin Cities market. Within a month, I had signed on to develop three locations.?I couldn't' be more excited to be a part of this team, bringing best-in-class services and products for your entire face to Wayzata (open now!), Apple Valley, and Eden Prairie (location and opening announcements coming soon!)?

Being a FACE FOUNDRIé owner means being able to bring my personal mission and values to life through a team of talented and educated estheticians who deeply care about each client. What I am enjoying the most right now is that every day I feel the perfect balance of learning new skills, while also drawing from my past experience, to continually improve the business. Long-term being an owner with this brand?also means that I can create the life that I want for myself and my family, both in terms of my day-to-day responsibilities, as well as my financial potential."
