Our January Franchise Feature is Greta Gunderson!

Greta opened the Fargo location on November 18th, 2021. Greta shares her background and experiences that led her to franchising with FACE FOUNDRIé.

"I found FACE FOUNDRIé almost a year ago while searching hashtags on Instagram. I was curious about trying brow lamination and had a hard time finding a place that offered the service. My first impression after a quick Google search of FACE FOUNDRIé was the affordable pricing. I was hooked as a client and was immediately intrigued when the company announced franchising opportunities two weeks later.

Before finding FACE FOUNDRIé, I worked in accounting for 10 years. I graduated from Augsburg University in 2009 with double majors in marketing and accounting. The job market looked entirely different when I graduated than it does now because we were in a recession. My first job out of college was an accounting internship. I remember my boss telling me at the time that I was the “poster child for college graduates during the recession” because I graduated top of my class with double majors and still could not find a job. Although the situation was not ideal at the time, I think the experience did help me build a strong work ethic in the long run. From my internship, I moved into a real estate accounting role at a large commercial real estate firm while I worked on passing the certified public accounting exams. Once I became a CPA I transitioned to a local CPA firm.

After struggling to find consistent child care, I left my job in accounting to stay home with my three young kids. FACE FOUNDRIé announced franchising opportunities at a time in my life where I was just starting to explore the idea of returning to work. I signed my franchise agreement in March 2021 and opened the store in Fargo, ND on November 18th . Franchising has given me the opportunity to combine two passions of mine – business and skincare, as well as find a good mom/work life balance."
