Framing a space
Drake Creative Collaborative
Mission-driven content for communications and brand design
Walking into the room we see freshly painted walls in a lovely lavender flooded with natural light, a few chairs, a conference table, and we think – this will do. We’re there to film five people for Family Services Inc in Poughkeepsie for their annual Family of the Year event.?
The topic – the importance of spaces and how they impact the delivery of services. Does a space make your clients feel comfortable and safe? Does it make the process easier for them? Is it trauma-informed?
In framing our shots, we look to establish consistency in light and feel but also show variety in how individuals present on camera. So we hunt around the building and find plants, branded posters, and a comfortable bench to set up surprisingly different but related scenarios.
