PROJECT HIGHLIGHT: The Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music

Monmouth University has unveiled plans for a 30,000-square-foot facility to house the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music. Set to open in spring 2026, the museum will feature exhibition galleries, a 230-seat theatre, and archives celebrating Springsteen and American music.

Walters Group has been awarded this project and will utilize a hybrid construction approach, combining a steel perimeter and theatre with a mass timber structure. Spanning three stories, this innovative design integrates steel and timber for one of the first projects of its kind in New York City.
