The Framework For The Perfect Sales Pitch

Hello, hello. It's Brandon Bornancin, your host of Sales, Strategies, Tips, and Best Practices to Crush Quota. I was just consulting a client and I'm on my way to a VC meeting. I was just consulting a client on his pitch approach, and wanted to share the framework for the perfect sales pitch. This specific client kept getting involved in all the semantics, the tactical semantics of their services. Let's just say if they do digital marketing, they kept saying, "We're going to help the client by doing all these different channels, SEO, paid search, content, social media, and we're going to publish these posts on these days, and we're going to change the re-targeting ads this way, and that way, and the whole nine."

I'm just like, "Look, you're talking gibberish. I do not give a shit about how you do it." There's five things I care about, and that's why I want to share with you the framework for the perfect sales pitch. There's five things that every prospect cares about, and if you want to master every sales pitch, this is the best approach to do based on historical data of my performance and a ton of clients that we consult. Number one, research. Research the client and tell me my current state of the business. Where have I been? Audit, research, analyze, everything about whatever you sell. Research the hell out of me, my company, my services, my solutions, and where we've been. That's step one.

The second part of the framework, step two, strategy. What is the strategy that you're going to leverage to take me from where I've been, to where I'm going? What is that strategy that you're going to leverage to change my life? How are you going to take me from my audit, or where I've been in the past, current state, to my future state? What's that strategy? Then, number three, revenue. No one cares about saving a few dollars, but what everyone cares about, what the CFO cares about, the CEO, the CMO, the chief revenue officer, everyone cares about making money. Everyone cares about making a shitload of money. The top line, what is the top line revenue? How everyday, the only thing everyone cares about is how are we making money and how are we making more money? Focus on the revenue. Focus on how much revenue your strategy is going to make the client, and that's number three.

Number four of the pitch framework: What is it going to cost? What is the investment of the strategy and the revenue that you're going to generate? How much does that cost the prospect? Then lastly, number five: What is the ROI? You need to clearly state, "Hey, here's where you are. Here's the strategy that we're gonna leverage to take you to where you need to go. Here's all the freakin' money that you're gonna make by taking you where you need to go. Here's the cost for us to do that, and then here's the ROI. We're going to help you generate 10 million in revenue, doing XYZ. It's gonna cost you a hundred grand, and the ROI is a ten to one, or a 900%."

You name it. Then, why this is the perfect framework to master every pitch, because your prospects can easily take these five steps, this playbook, this five step playbook to buy you and your solution, straight to their CFO and say, "Look, here's the current state of the business. Here's the strategy for the future state of the business. Here's all the money we're gonna make. Here's how much it's gonna cost, and as you can clearly see, here's the high ROI of every dollar you give me for this solution from XYZ partner." That will ensure that your target prospect can easily understand where are they at? Where are they going? How much money are they going to make? How much it's going to cost them, what's the ROI, so they can quickly take that to the CFO, the CMO, the CRO, the CTO, whatever, and get buy-in and buy your product right away.

If you want to fast-track your sales cycle, leverage this five step approach. If you want to increase conversion rates on every single one of your deals, you want to leverage this approach. If you want to close more deals faster, bigger, better, simpler than ever before, leverage this approach.
