#FrameItFriday (week 33 season 4)

I fell down the rabbit hole this past week. Not a real one but the virtual one. Have you ever done that? I've been researching ideas for shoots, googling specific words and the motherhood of images and ideas and websites popped up before my eyes. It sure makes the adrenaline flow. I kid you not, I am surrounded by cool locations, I am gathering some sweet props (yes MORE), costumes and I have a gazillion ideas for poses.....now I just need "the people" so who's down? Who's local? Have a cool ride? Getting engaged? Need some new promo shots?

OH, did I mention that this week's blog is going to be all about drumming up some business? I'm looking for some business folks, possibly some orders for some of my images on canvas, print, framed, metal? Need an event covered? I'm double vaxed and have a TON of masks I can wear and a super long lens to keep it all Covid kosher. It's tricky starting up again in a new community but I've been stopping by some cool shops and networking lately. I am in awe of all the amazing businesses that are around my community. So much talent! I'm looking to worm my way in to it a bit. There is work on the horizon for me, don't get me wrong but in the meantime I want to do some creative stuff with people not Herons (no offence to Herons). The bunkie you see in the photo would be perfect for some family group shots or in front of the garage if you've got a classic car or trippy motorcycle. We also have access to hay (we hoard it in the country) lol. So MESSAGE ME if you want me to shoot you.

While I patiently wait for someone to get off their butt and contact me I was interviewed for this TVO show the other day (thank you cousin Laura for the intel). I'll let you know if my segment gets aired and when. I've confirmed a meet-up with a super cool artist that I came across and I promise I'll be posting some images of her work because she's inspiring and vibrant and well, you'll see. Oh and did I mention our town is having a STAMPEDE and JAMBOREE? Oh heck ya, it sounds like it's going to be jam-packed with some pretty entertaining events. I will post links to them closer to the event as it's in October.

I am doing a calendar again this year. Who's interested in getting one? Let me know in the comments below. I'm not taking orders for them yet but I want a rough idea of how much interest there is in them? They'll be $20CDN shipped (out of country orders will pay the cost the post office charges me).

Lastly, my ride, my whip, my backroad companion just got all new tires and will have new sway bars installed within the next few days and I'll resume scouring the backroads for photos of cool shit I see.
