Fractional CTO Service Coming...

I wanted to give a preview for what is next for me :)

I have taken a few years to recover from the trauma of being a startup founder, toyed with the idea (and wrote a product) about doing it again, spent a bunch of time working on IOT and embedded systems, learned 3 new programming languages (GitHub copilot makes this really easy) and decided what I wanted to do as my next act.

I did not find any company (yet) that I was interested in joining full time, but did want to use my 25 years of experience as a technology leader to work with interesting companies that have hard problems.

Fractional CTO services are an interesting value proposition for companies. The scope of this work range from companies needing senior technology guidance for a project, companies not yet at a point to hire someone who has the right level of experience but need help and other consulting projects. These projects might be choosing the right technology stack, designing a low code (Decisions! I happen to know a lot about this particular platform since I wrote the majority of it), doing root cause analysis on technology issues, technical due diligence, training development teams, managing offshore teams (also a particular area of expertise for me) or building MVP of a product.
