There are no words for the devastation that has occurred throughout our state the past few weeks during both Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. From our own team, to our members, to our communities across the state, our thoughts are with you as we work to rebuild those impacted by the recent storms.The FPN team is here to help and stand with our community as we navigate through this challenging time.?
We understand the hardship that natural disasters can bring, and we want to assure our members and the broader community that we are committed to providing support and resources during this difficult period.?
We encourage our members to reach out if they need assistance or have resources to offer. Together, we can make a significant impact in the recovery and rebuilding process.

Our Engage, Connect and Learn?session is a unique opportunity for professionals from North, Central, and South Florida to come together for a full day of meaningful connections. With concurrent sessions taking place in Jacksonville, St. Petersburg and Fort Lauderdale, you’ll engage with local partners, network with other funders and grantmakers, and share insights on measuring data and demonstrating impact in inclusive ways.

The Director of Capacity Building is a new, grant-funded position with The Miami Foundation that oversees all aspects of the Foundation’s recently expanded capacity building program. The Miami Foundation is excited to make this intentional investment in the operational, programmatic, and financial success of the community-based groups and nonprofit organizations throughout the Miami region. This position is focused on identifying and deploying resources beyond grantmaking to support organizations’ abilities to strengthen and scale their respective missions. The Director of Capacity Building will strategically identify partners in this work that supports the entire nonprofit ecosystem, and its various levels, to provide a range of programming that include technical support, training, and resources that enhances resilience, efficacy, and overall ability to serve our Miami community. Our desire is that the Director will not only create and manage high quality capacity building offerings but will bring a passion and expertise in developing professional development and innovative learning opportunities to Miami’s nonprofit community.
