Deep in the world of invoices and numbers, Cheyenne Roberts quietly crunches them on her trusty desk calculator on the upper floor of the Gainesville, Georgia, factory. Her knack for numbers and processes stemmed from an early age, searching to find order in a chaotic world. Many wouldn’t guess Cheyenne, currently the accounts payable coordinator, once put in miles across the factory floor, assembling shocks or grabbing parts from every corner of the building.

Cheyenne, seeking opportunities her rural town couldn't offer, started as an assembler for the PowerSports team in May of 2022. She found joy in working with her hands, tools, numbers, remembering parts, and just “slamming out” products as fast as possible. Six months later, her hustle and problem-solving skills were recognized when she shifted to the water spider position. Seeing some of her process ideas successfully implemented across the factory brought her immense satisfaction, a feeling she shared with her brother, who subsequently joined the team and is now a production line lead.

Despite the constant challenges and growth opportunities on the factory floor, Cheyenne felt a call to volunteer with Family Promise, a local nonprofit that keeps families experiencing homelessness together. Her efforts significantly boosted their digital presence and helped with fundraising events.?

"We were the first family that Family Promise took in," Cheyenne recalls. “It provided me with structure and support during a difficult time, an experience that shaped me and compelled me to give back.”

After making a positive impact at the nonprofit, Cheyenne approached Fox for an opportunity on the finance team. With no fancy training, she leaned on her previous factory floor hustle and those “slam it out” skills to prove her readiness for this responsibility. Now, armed with her grit and trusty calculator, she tackles invoices with confidence while pursuing her accounting degree, with her sights set on furthering her finance career.?

From the factory floor to the finance department, Cheyenne's journey at Fox is a shining example of her unwavering work ethic and commitment to growth. While she tackles invoices with the same dedication she once applied to assembling parts, her sights are set on becoming a senior account manager. Cheyenne's story is a reminder that with an ingenuity and service attitude and a willingness to learn, any path can lead to a fulfilling and rewarding career.?
