AmCham China Celebrates the Fourth of July!
On July 6, AmCham China hosted its annual Independence Day party with a Backyard BBQ attended by over 250 guests at the JW Marriott in Beijing. The outdoor event was the perfect day out for people of all ages, featuring a children’s area complete with clowns and entertainment, face painting, and arts and crafts stations, as well as live music performances, lucky draws, a buffet, and free-flow beverages!
Meanwhile on Juy 3 in Chengdu, the Southwest Chapter hosted the “Red, White & Brew” 4th of July celebration attended by over 100 guests at the Coca-Cola Restaurant Chengdu. Click here for more from the Southwest party!

White Paper Delivery Meeting at the Ministry of Commerce
On July 4, AmCham China Chair Sean Stein and AmCham China Vice President Claire Ma led a delegation of member company representatives to meet with Vice Minister of Commerce Wang Shouwen at the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM).

AmCham China Leadership Leads Delegation to Liaoning Provincial Government
On June 19, an AmCham China delegation led by President Michael Hart, Chair of the Northeast Chapter Dr. Richard Swann, and Vice Chair Yun A. Duan, visited the Liaoning Provincial Government, where they met with Governor Li Lecheng. The delegation included representatives from 10 member companies from Shenyang, Dalian, Beijing, and Tianjin.
