Fourth Edition of Ramadan Tournaments Kicks Off with Sports Kit Distribution to Organizers
On Sunday, March 2, 2025, as part of the fourth edition of the Ramadan tournaments, the meeting room of the Ministry of Youth and Culture hosted the ceremony of distributing sports kits, balls and trophies to the organizers of the Ramadan tournaments throughout the national territory.
This initiative benefited the regional deputy directors of the MJC, the directors of the CDCs of the capital as well as the youth associative movements, key players in the sports animation of the blessed month of Ramadan. Through this endowment, the ministry demonstrates its commitment to supporting these tournaments, which constitute a privileged leisure time for young people, mainly organized in the afternoon, before breaking the fast. The ceremony was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Hibo Moumin Assoweh, Minister of Youth and Culture, in the presence of senior officials of the ministry. This event highlighted the importance of recreational sports as a factor of social cohesion, development and living together, especially during the holy month.
Ramadan tournaments have become an essential event for young people, promoting not only sporting competition, but also the spirit of solidarity, fair play and unity within communities.
