If you are stuck or are wondering if your days are well spent, chances are you need to have full intent in your life and your business.
How can you be intentional everyday? Here are four ways to help you.
Media Mindfulness
Think about all the media that goes on in our lives. Between TV, social media, email and blogs, we are consumed with it. How do you know when it becomes excessive? When do you know when you’ve had enough?
Have you ever constantly “checked” your email? Have you ever absentmindedly started scrolling through your news feed? This is how you know that the media has become excessive. When things become so automatic that you do things without thinking about them. This will have a negative effect on your business.
What Brings you Joy?
One way to be intentional is to do things that bring you joy. This is a way to add value to your life and so often this is overlooked. What brings you joy? Could it be reading a book, writing poems, or visiting with friends?
Do the things everyday that bring joy in your life and your perspective will change.
Self-Reflection
When you are complete with your day, allow yourself to reflect. This is a wonderful way to check in on yourself. You will be able to hone in on what is important to you. Ask yourself how your day was, what you did well, what you needed to work on, etc. Write it out in a journal entry.
After you reflect in your journal, set your intentions for the next day. I love going back to what I set so that I can reflect on that as well.
What are you proud of?
Do you go to bed wondering if you made an impact? Do you wake up asking how you can make an impact? One way to be completely intentional is to do something you are proud of. What does that look like? It doesn't have to be huge. It can be as simple as giving your undivided attention to your friends and colleagues. It could be helping someone cross the street or opening the door for them.
Ask yourself each day how you can be intentional and put that into action. My Ultimate Success Blueprint will get you into full success mode. If you have lack of confidence, are feeling stuck or not able to be at your full potential, this will help you get into action.
To Your Success,
Charlotte
