Higher education isn’t (usually) known for rapid change, but as generative artificial intelligence grows in prevalence, accessibility, and capabilities, those who are slow to respond will likely experience a rapid divide in services, enrollment, and resources.
For those willing to dive in, these can be positive opportunities rather than threats. As colleges and universities continue to wrestle with the shifting expectations of students and the workforce, AI emerges as a powerful tool to enhance learning outcomes, streamline operations, and drive innovation. In particular, there are four key areas where AI is set to make its mark, particularly for online providers.
What we Teach: Curriculum Adaptation

Getting the most out of AI in education is all about our mindset. If we see it as a tool that empowers our educators and students, then that is what we will get. If we view it as a threat to education in general, we will only see the negative sides to it.
