Four Thoughts
1.If the Republicans in congress worked as hard to make the United States government function efficiently as they do chasing after the Clintons, we’d be living in a far better place.
2. I wish politicians would stop calling America “the greatest country in the world.” It’s only true to morons, idiots, and close-minded people who don’t read intelligent writing, or travel outside our borders.
3. Noah’s ark is ready for boarding in Kentucky. I encourage all people who believe the universe is 6,000 years old to board immediately and sail away.
4. I’m going to try very hard not to draw a Trump cartoon next week.

8 年The key word in this editorial is 'HATRED", not just by members of the two major US political parties, but by members of the thousands of racial, religious, age, education, regional, ect. groups in this country. Hatred many times is driven by fear of the unknown which is fueled by lack of accurate information on beliefs other than what one holds as their core values. Tolerance is not the same as understanding. Don't expect everyone to accept opposing opinions, but at least try to hear and understand those opinions. "Walk a mile in their shoes". Violence on either side of an issue only tends to further polarize people. This country and world needs another Rev. MLK Sr. or Gandhi.

8 年The problem here, I believe, is a failure to communicate just how much the Republicans have come close to destroying this country by pandering to right-wing extremists. You can try, Bob, but I think the temptation will be too strong to ignore. He's about due to put his other foot in his mouf.
Multifaceted and Motivated
8 年The republicans need to mess with Hillary. After all, they need something to do to fill the time they're not spending helping Trump get elected.
