Four Things you should consider other than price...

I wrote an article earlier this month about four things you should consider other than price when buying a house. In many cases the main consideration is price, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as square footage, but there are several other things that may go overlooked. Things that you will realize once you live in the home. These considerations will affect your enjoyment of the home. Following is a brief summary as I do go into more detail in my blog, but they include the following:
The Neighbourhood
It can be difficult to really get a feel for the neighbourhood in only a couple of visits. If it is not a "match" to you and your lifestyle, you are not going to be as happy as you would be in a "better for you" neighbourhood.
The Commute
How long does it take you to get to work? How bad is the traffic during rush hour, and what if there is an accident? Any alternate routes?
Local Amenities
If you frequent a gym, how close is it to your home? What about a grocery store or other amenity you may frequent?
Proximity to industrial/commercial/response
How close is the industrial area? Will the overflow from the commercial areas fill up your street with parking? How likely are you to hear sirens from first responders?
These four considerations will have a significant impact on your enjoyment of your new home. If you want to read the full article, please visit my blog at https://ryanligeza.com/four-things-you-should-consider/
