The Four Pillars of Outstanding Customer Service
Designing, manufacturing and selling products represents only one side of the equation when it comes to satisfying customers. How our products perform and how we support customers is the other - it's also a determining factor as to whether they remain our customers in the future.
For Bombardier Business Aircraft, our products are based around the world and by their very nature are always on the move, so our customer support network must ensure we have the people, the parts, the location and the technology available quickly and globally to keep our customers flying.
As we host customers this week for our Maintenance and Operations conference in Fort Lauderdale, FL, we are focused on four areas to ensure we are providing the very best customer service and support:the speed with which we respond to customers; the capacity we have to meet the global demand for our services; technological innovation in maintaining and upgrading our products; and something all customers want us to do, maximize their bottom line.
For Bombardier, this translates to responding quickly with the right people and parts when an aircraft requires maintenance and having a global footprint of facilities for day-to-day service and support. Implementing new technologies to monitor aircraft systems for preventative maintenance and offering the latest upgrades to things like avionics, cabin management systems and WiFi internet access. Finally, by extending maintenance intervals and offering industry leading warranties on parts, we are making every penny of our customers’ investment work for them.
Business jets are a distinct product but the principles we are applying to keep our customers flying are fundamental to any industry. Like you, we strive to take the very best care of our customers to ensure they remain long term partners.
