THE FOUR LEVELS OF CONSCIOUSNESS

If you ask me about the single biggest reason behind any kind of extraordinary growth and change, it would be this one:

High Level of Consciousness.

You see, even a smart dude called Albert Einstein once proclaimed:?“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”

But sometimes we might be wondering: What is consciousness and how the heck can I grow my consciousness to the highest level and allow my business to grow exponentially?

That's why I'd like to share with you a little more about the?Four Levels of Consciousness. This model of consciousness can give you immediate practical benefits - and allows you to become aware of how you perceive - and therefore create – the growth of your business and your reality as a whole. This, in turn, will give you the freedom to shift it immediately.

So grab a cup of coffee and let's dive into it...

1. To Me Consciousness

Simply put, this is a victim mode. If we are honest with ourselves, each and every one of us spent some time in To Me Consciousness and we can easily fall back into it when things don’t go as we wish them to go.

• “I’d grow my business if it wasn’t for the fact that my family needs me more right now.”
• “My sales flopped because people aren’t buying around Christmas time.”
• “I’d invest in my growth, but first I need to wait for a few more sales.”
• “I cannot be as successful/fulfilled as I want to be because I was born in the wrong country… to wrong parents… at the wrong time… You don’t understand!”

When we are in To Me Consciousness, we let life happen to us and react to its happenings. We let our circumstances dictate what we can and cannot do. We feel limited. We feel things are out of control. And when we don’t succeed To Me Consciousness offers us a quick explanation; blaming something or someone outside of ourselves. Simples!

I know that you are most likely well and truly over-living your life through the eyes of a victim. And yet, if we are completely honest with ourselves, from time to time even the best of us occasionally fall back into To Me Consciousness. Typically, when things don’t go the way we want them to go; or when we feel stuck.

I recall a conversation with one of my friends some years ago when I – for the twentieth time - complained about how unlucky I was to lose my first business to a con man.

“If it hadn’t happened to me, I could do x, y, z right now, but I can’t do it! If it wasn’t for him, I would not struggle financially as I do now, but what can I do? I can’t undo it! It is so hard to handle!”

She listened to me with patience and when I was finished, she said to me:

“Lenka, listen to yourself. Poor me; poor me; poor me. Aren’t you tired of that story yet? I don’t know how about you, but I am. After all, it is you who allowed this to happen to you.”

Ouch.

Snapping back from a victim mentality into the driver’s seat of our business can be a highly uncomfortable experience. It requires us to let go of any blame and adopt 100% responsibility for everything. Often, this is a hard pill to swallow. But this is also a moment when we take back tremendous power because we have to change in any situation. This is the moment when we make extraordinary growth possible. It is certainly not built on victimhood mentality! This is a moment when we move to the second level of consciousness and become infinitely more powerful.

2. By Me Consciousness

This is a state of consciousness when we take absolute control of our results and become a make-it-happener. We no longer wait, hope, pray and blame. We make shizzle happen, period.

By Me consciousness is what the entire personal development field is based on. ‘Set challenging goals! Cultivate your determination! Never give up! You can do it!’… and so it goes on.

This is also the level of awareness where the vast majority of high achievers in business reside. By the way, think about it; achiever is By Me Consciousness word.

With no doubt, those people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and adopt By Me Consciousness, are rewarded for it. It is infinitely more powerful to take responsibility for our results than to wait for luck, better circumstances, or someone to help us along the way.

But operating through this level of awareness has also got its price.

It can be exhausting. We know that all the responsibility lies on our shoulders. There is no knight in shining armour out there who can save us. We have got to prove we can do this. We have got to develop immaculate work ethics and let our determination take us through – the often many - obstacles to our greatest success.

“If I work hard enough, if I work long enough, I will succeed at what I want.”?We say to ourselves, elbowing our way through to the next business goal.

Many women refuse this paradigm after a while. It's the single most important reason why we women are leaving the 'safe' 9-5s in droves and setting up on our own. Because we don't just want to make good money - we want to make it in our way. Except, many women find themselves in a new environment (self-employment/ business) with the same, old problems. Tough competition; long hours; overcoming constant challenges; and always feeling they need to prove themselves. These problems never seem to go away.

There is another level of consciousness and it is the one that, not only helps us to grow our businesses faster, but it also allows us to do it with much more grace and ease.

3. Through Me Consciousness?

This is the state known as a ‘flow’. A term coined and researched by an American-Hungarian psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.

We enter Through Me Consciousness when we are in complete harmony with that which we are aiming for. Positive things simply happen. People show up in the right place and at the right time. They call us before we pick up the phone to call them. They open doors before we put our hand on the handle. Everything seems to be effortless. Fast. Easy.

Of course, each and every one of us have found ourselves, at one point or another, in the state of a flow. And we love it when it happens. Flow makes our work-life a lot easier and more enjoyable.

But imagine for a moment, what that would be like if it was your default way of filtering your reality? What if being in a flow was your norm? You wouldn’t only get that which you aim for with much greater ease; also, you would flow with the river of life, which takes you to the most magical places. Of course, there would be some twists and turns along the way, but the destination would be guaranteed. In other words, adopting Through Me Consciousness can be a way of activating your highest potential; creating extraordinary growth; and thriving in every sphere of your life.

The only thing is that most of us end up in Through Me Consciousness accidentally. We don’t know how to make it our norm. So we end up back in By Me Consciousness, pushing our way forward until the next little lucky break.

The truth is, it is possible to consciously evoke flow in our personal and professional lives. However, the way to do that is counter-intuitive to our logical brains. We have got to give up the need for control and replace it with trust. In other words, we have got to embrace uncertainty a little more.

4. As Me Consciousness?

Guess what. There is one other level of consciousness that is even more, - infinitely - powerful than the Through Me way of living and running your business. The As Me Consciousness.

When you lean into this level of perceiving your reality, you no longer make things happen. You no longer co-create with the Universe. Because you know, with every fiber of your being, that you are the Universe. You let go of the illusion of separateness; that you are in some way separate from the Universe.

Simply put, you awaken your?Magician within?- and open the doors to exponential growth and miracles.

This is the state of Oneness with all there is. You will know that every single person, thing and experience in your rich Universe is a mirror image of you. It is what you are choosing. You started it all, you created it all and you are the one who is experiencing itself through the infinite creations of yours.

You know that if you don’t love experiencing something, you can choose something different just like that. You will understand that you never received anything. You only gave it to yourself and you can give yourself whatever you wish, at any time you wish.

For some of you, reading this may sound like an ultimate blasphemy.?“How dare I to think that I could be that powerful?”

The idea of accepting your infinitely powerful nature can be scary, or unfathomable at first. And yet, what you will find out is that the more you lean into this way of being, the more loving you become to everything and everyone in your life and the more love you will receive in return.

When you speak to your potential clients, your colleagues, friends, people you love, or a stranger on the street, you don’t speak to someone who is separate from you. You are experiencing yourself as them. You will know that what you give other people, you give to yourself and what you give to yourself, will give to other people. You will know that when you help other people you help yourself and when you help yourself you help other people.

Of course, adopting As Me Consciousness is incredibly good for your business. You will discover that you no longer need to react to everyday circumstances. Instead, you can decide what those circumstances are.

So, you can practically throw away all the marketing and sales averages because you will find you can create any result in your business you like, at your will.
