Four Key Takeaways from the Training 2022 Conference & Expo

Just got back from the Training 2022 conference and was it ever great to be back at a real-live event!?Thanks again to all who attended my session on Asking Powerful Questions, it was great fun.

If you're interested in the learning and development industry, here are my key takeaways from the sessions I attended and the conversations in which I participated:

1. It's not just nice to work in real-time and in-person with our colleagues - it's still in so many ways necessary.
2. If you have a great idea for e-learning, there's probably an app out there to help you bring it to life with (relative) ease.
3. Learning professionals are hungry to have their work produce real results to benefit their learners and the organizations in which they work.
4. Many learning professionals still feel that their functions lack the "seat at the table" needed to have a strategic impact.

I certainly can't say that any of these takeaways is an epiphany.?But, it's always good to reinforce shared experiences and support within our professional community.
