Founders, find a way.

Got some news this morning.

Bill that many in our state backed to support, died on the floor.

This would have created a container for an innovation fund we could then use to federal money to back and support Nevada startups.

Nevada legislature only meets every 2 years.

2 years! That is EONS in startupland.

So that means an effort like this can only be reproached in 2 years.

(Founders you are not the only one who pitches and strikes out!)

Or do we really have to wait two years? ;)

You see, I know something the government does not know.

Great founders are like water,

If the flow of innovation gets stopped or gated....

It just goes around,

Or if things get really gnarly...through.

Ingenuity can not be contained.

Pent up purpose preservers.

True intention can not be stopped.

I also was on the phone with the county yesterday. Many of you don't know that most of the Strip in Vegas doesn't actually sit in the "city of Las Vegas".

They were explaining some of the limitations that may make it challenging to bring more capital to the startups that are here and come here to be capitalized.

My response: "I hear you AND I was able to get banks to say yes to loans to pre-revenue small businesses even though they said it couldn't be done. This process has now been produced for thousands of businesses across the country.

I am not smart enough to be all academic about all the reasons why something won't work.

I am just an entrepreneur. I only need one way it will work.

THAT is my way in."

You better believe we will find a way in, around or through.

Capital seeks a return. It makes money when it's velocitized.

Capital is abundant and wants to flow.

It wants to be paired with innovation.

No wonder capital and founders are such fast friends!

Founders always find a way.
