Founder Social Club Update 2

The Founder Social Club community has now grown to 98 people, and the last few weeks have been filled with growth and new opportunities.

When I first moved to the South Bay, I met Piyush Rastogi, who joined my community of founders. We have been getting to know each other over the past few months.

His story is truly inspiring, and his deep expertise in supply chain, combined with the speed he builds and launches features, is remarkable.

The software he’s developed is game-changing addressing real challenges that I have seen during my time in supply chain, particularly at 沃尔玛 .

I am excited to join him as a co-founder at Coyax.

What motivates me most about joining Piyush is the opportunity to bring my own experience and insights to the table to create solutions that the industry genuinely needs. It is just the beginning.

I am confident that together, we will make a lasting impact on the world.

We are raising our pre-seed round in the coming weeks.

On another note, Founder Social Club hosted its first Founder & VC Poolside Mixer on 9/25, with over 180 RSVPs!

It was an incredible event, full of meaningful connections.

This past week has been filled with many events and value from SF Tech Week.

As it is coming to an end I wanted to share a few learnings.

I had the chance to hear Emmett Shear , the co-founder and CEO of Twitch .

Takeaways:

1. Finding a mentor: You would be surprised how willing people are to help you if you ask thoughtful questions, follow through with what you say, and provide updates on your progress, what worked and what didn't.
2. Life is a fascinating set of problems to solve.

This reminded me of a quote from Jim Rohn

Don't wish it were easier, wish you were better. Don't wish for fewer problems, wish for more skills. Don't wish for less challenge, wish for more wisdom.

If you have a positive outlook on life and challenge yourself to find solutions you are going to be on a much better path to living a fulfilling life.
