Q: What inspired you to start ShopMy?

A: We launched ShopMy in 2020 after noticing creators were sharing product recommendations on social media but lacking efficient ways to monetize their content. Many were linking directly to brand websites without affiliate tracking, essentially driving sales without earning their fair share. We started by building a simple tool to help creators better monetize their recommendations through custom shopping pages.

As we dug deeper, we discovered a broader opportunity: the entire creator marketing ecosystem needed modernization. While creators needed better monetization tools, brands could not scale authentic partnerships and measure their impact. We saw an opportunity to build technology that would make creator marketing as measurable as traditional performance channels while preserving the authenticity that makes creator partnerships valuable.

Q: What is ShopMy's core offering?

A: Our platform enables creators and brands to build meaningful, scalable partnerships powered by data. For creators, ShopMy provides tools to monetize their authentic recommendations. For brands, we deliver enterprise-grade technology to discover, activate, and measure creator partnerships with the same precision as paid search, driving an average 5x ROI.


Q: How does ShopMy stand out from other platforms in the creator economy?

A: We fundamentally changed how brands evaluate and invest in creator partnerships by shifting the focus from social metrics to actual sales data. Instead of making decisions based on followers and engagement, brands can now optimize based on concrete business metrics like sales volume and average order value.

This shift in underlying data and our comprehensive feature set enables brands to manage and scale creator partnerships as a true growth channel. While most platforms focus solely on creator discovery, we've built an all-in-one solution that automates traditionally manual processes and provides the performance metrics brands need to confidently invest in creators at scale.
