Foundations of Selling

At the end of the day sales drive the company. Without sales the company could not function. The company is reliant on the stream of sales in and out of the company.

Have you ever lost a few deals in a row and wondered, “Am I missing something?” “Has the market changed that much?” “How can we turn this around?” “What if we can’t?”

If you answered yes to any of these questions, like many business leaders, you need to focus intently on securing additional and consistent revenue for the company. Simply put, you need a vision for sales.

Once you create a vision you need to build a sales culture, some cultures are better for achieving consistent growth of profitable sales than others. There is no “one size fits all” sales culture. It all depends on your company, industry, and ultimately your purpose.

Thank you for sharing, Marc. As business owners, it's imperative to remember that sales are what ultimately drive and sustain the business. Having a vision for sales and developing a sales culture are both integral components of ensuring the sale is kept at the forefront of the organization.
