That’s what’s on my mind…

How often do you think about, pay attention to, or have awareness of the importance of the foundation of your home?

Until there’s a crack and water comes in or mold starts to grow I bet you never give it a second thought.

But without a strong and solid foundation you’d be living in a house of straw - and the next gust of wind will blow that baby right over.

I spent the first 20 years of my career in real estate - sales and property management and I know a whole hell of a lot about the nitty gritty of all the things that you don’t see that make for a solid, valuable, stable and integrous structure that you can live in for life.

My last project in the industry was an award winning multi-use 51 single family houses, 56 apartments & an office building that I developed with 2 partners and I sold the first 10 houses myself from dirt piles and blueprints.

I left the industry 20 years ago after the project was done as a result of a spiritual awakening.

This led me on a 5 year path of healing, growth & self discovery of what had been lying dormant within me - and to giving myself permission to get off the life consuming hamster wheel of “working hard” to make the bacon with people and in an industry that was killing me.

I killed off my former self in the process (and have died to be reborn multiple times since…)

In 2008 after starting, owning and closing an art gallery & healing art center & creating and hosting a street festival two years in a row that brought 6500 people to the heart of my city, and founding ArtWalk Nashua which has lived on now for 18 years, I landed online.

I was CALLED to share my story of transforming my life - not locally, not regionally, not nationally, the call was to share it with the WORLD.

I had a lot of pushback on the audacity of my calling… internally as well as from those I had thought would be my biggest cheerleaders, but who turned out, alas, to be my biggest critics.

Since then I have been heard by millions, I’ve made multiple millions (from home - a lot of times in my pajamas!) and my client roster has generated over $100 million in revenues.

And you know what? Most of them come to me because they have metaphorically “bought the curtains for the second floor guest room” before the foundation has been set for lasting success.

One major component of the foundation is getting clear on the level of revenue that you REALLY require to not just live comfortably in your entrepreneurial venture but to actually be able to grow.

You don’t build a fifty story building on the foundation of a two bedroom ranch right?

Why am I telling you this?

Because if you are Called (with a capital C) like I was - to bring a higher level of consciousness to the world through your work and business - and you’ve hit a revenue ceiling then it’s probably time for you to go back to the ground level and get that foundation ready to put on the second, third or fourth floor!
