Foundation Splices at Cargill Elm Creek, Manitoba Elevator

On September 30, 2014 We received an email from one of the forms on our website for a "Free Trial".  Something we offer to any contractor in Canada or the US.  The Welding Foreman at Subterranean (Manitoba) Ltd. was interested in trying our shelters.

Now our shelters traditionally had only been for Pipeline applications, however Hex-Hut's inventor had made a modification for the shelters to work on Vertical Pipe.  To the best of our knowledge there weren't any shelters available that were made for this intended purpose.

Cargill had requested that Subterranean (Manitoba) Ltd. fast track this work.  Using our shelters was instrumental in being able to deliver this.  Our shelters were able to ensure quality welds and avoid costly weather delays.  Anyone who has been in Manitoba in January/February knows how bitterly cold it can be.  Subterranean (Manitoba) Ltd. used a total of six T24VPU Shelters, and executed this scope of work at Cargill Elm Creek as requested.

We appreciate Subterranean (Manitoba) Ltd. for reaching out and being willing to adopt a new system.  And we are certainly pleased to have been able to help get this job done on time.
