Foundation partner opportunities.
Foundation partner opportunities for virtual DPOs and privacy vendors – ahead of the launch of the first automated Privacy Respect Auditor.
Privacy and Cookies, architects of Rethinking Privacy, is looking to recruit 5 foundation partners prior to the launch of the Privacy Respect Auditor (PRA). The PRA provides partners with previously unseen levels of detail as to the privacy reality
– website data collection methods are now under the microscope.
This new level of detail supports informed decision making and enhances partners service offerings. Client confidence is upheld with their risk being mitigated. Your clients can continue to demonstrate their respect of individuals privacy whilst protecting their brand.
Privacy Respect Auditor.
The beta of the service is available to try FREE at www.rethinkingprivacy.com, prior to the launch of the full service on September 7th. Example below.
Widespread Compliance Failure
The majority of organisations (over 70%) are looking to adhere to cookie regulation, but the evidence demonstrates 89% websites fail and are non-compliant, i.e. setting non-essential cookies ahead of consent being provided. Millions are being spent on Cookie Management Systems / Platforms (CMPs) which reports show are failing on their basic premise, that of ensuring compliance.
Compliance Challenges
Organisations face 3 major challenges in delivering compliance with cookie regulations:
- Procuring and implementing the right technology to manage cookie consent,
- Oversight and management throughout the Digital Supply Chain (e.g. 3rd party code, analytics, surveys, content updates and web software),
- Unravelling the sophisticated technologies of the data aggregators (i.e. those whose business models depend on the collection and aggregation of data).
Privacy Respect Auditor
The Privacy Respect Auditor (PRA) is the international standard for assessing a website, interrogating the data collection technologies used and reporting those likely to impact privacy regulation. Organisations websites are scored based on level of risk to individual’s privacy – the lower the score the greater their commitment to the respectful treatment of personal data.
The PRA is the first in a range of services that utilises our automated, intelligent Risk Profiling Engine to empower the DPO and provide a pathway to compliance, manage timely reduction of their PRA score and ongoing monitoring to ensure continued adherence.
Become a Foundation Partner?
Partners will benefit from advanced access to PRA based services to support their clients as well as an advanced preview of the Privacy Respect INDEX? which will be a ranking for companies that are listed on the LSE and AIM. Initially we will INDEX websites of UK Public companies, along with Government (local, Central and NGO) providing a ranking based on their PRA score which demonstrates their level of privacy respect.
Foundation partners will also be entitled to free service credits (value £3k). If you’re interested in becoming a foundation partner – email Robert Andrews, [email protected]
Example PRA (Privacy Risk Audit)
While in beta try any website, anytime - understand the differing technologies in use to collect data. Example from Argos, as of the 4th August, breakdown of the actual cookies and storage objects / by domain. Argos.co.uk setting 48 cookies alone - PRA Score of 281.
