FOUND: The secret to website sales leads

Business Owner: I don't understand it. A few months ago, we laid out $15,000 to have our new website designed and we aren't getting any sales leads from it.


GB: Really? Are you getting qualified traffic to your site?


Business Owner: Yes. 


GB: What's the main message your visitors get when they arrive on your site?


Business Owner: Well, we talk about our superior products and great customer service. We have some graphics and paragraph underneath each graphic that explains things a bit. That’s what everyone in our industry does.


GB: Do you find yourself having to constantly discount your pricing in order to make sales?


Business Owner: All the time. I wish we didn’t have to do it but it seems that’s the only thing prospects are interested in.


GB: Do you know why they do that?


Business Owner: Everybody wants a deal.


GB: The reason they fixate on price is because that’s the only thing you gave them.


Business Owner: What do you mean?


GB: Do you think your company is the best choice your prospect could make to get the outcome he wants. 


Business Owner: Of course.


GB: Then why haven’t you used your web copy to explain what makes your company the superior choice? 


Business Owner: We never thought of it.
