Government of Telangana's Nodal Agency to promote the Culture of Innovation across the State
Telangana Innovation Cell (TSIC), the state's nodal body for innovation since 2017, continues to foster collaboration within the ecosystem through its monthly T-Incubators and Accelerators Meet. Connecting over 70 incubators across Telangana, these meetups provide a platform for knowledge sharing and building stronger ties.
The latest edition, held on May 27th, 2024, hosted by WE Hub, A Government of Telangana Initiative at their premises, saw participation from 34 incubators representing academia, corporates, and individual ventures.
The meetup offered valuable insights with a capacity building session on ‘Business Incubation’ led by Mr. Naveen Jha , Former Founder & Chairperson of Deshpande Startups at Deshpande Foundation .
The session was moderated by Ms. Vinutha Naga Rallapalli , Advisor, Funding & Strategy Advisory at WE Hub, ensuring a dynamic exchange of ideas amongst attendees.
The meetup also served as a warm welcome to Ms. Sita Pallacholla, the new CEO of WE Hub. She shared her experiences and laid the foundation for future collaboration. This open approach paves the way for exploring potential synergies and strengthening artnerships within the Telangana innovation ecosystem.
To further empower our incubator network and equip them with the necessary tools and knowledge to support their startups, TSIC also initiated the capacity building series which will be hosted periodically.
Youngistaan Foundation & TSIC Partner to Break the Silence on Menstrual Hygiene with Innovation and Open Conversation
Youngistaan Foundation 's Gender and Health Program aimed to break the silence surrounding menstruation with their event 'Break The Silence - Edition IV' held on May 26th.

The program featured a thought-provoking panel discussion on ‘The Role of Innovation in Promoting Menstrual Hygiene at Grassroots.’
Vani Buddhavarapu , TSIC’s PR Manager moderated the discussion, which included valuable insights from panelists Manish Sagar Ramarapu , Founder of Padverse, Shyam Rathod , State Coordinator for inREPLACE & ASCI-USAID Projects, and Anju Arora , Founder of Naari - A Women Wellness Program.
The event went beyond the panel discussion, incorporating artistic dialogue and an open mic session to foster a creative and inclusive space for open conversation. By using the hashtags #PeriodFriendlyINDIA, #PeriodFriendlyASIA, and #PeriodFriendlyWORLD, Youngistaan Foundation hopes to create a ripple effect, sparking a wider conversation about menstrual health across the region and beyond.
Telangana Showcases Innovation at UN's Impact Harvest Forum 2024
Telangana made a strong presence at the UN's recent Impact Harvest Forum 2024 on 23 & 24 of May in Bangkok. The state's impressive record in supporting grassroots innovation, women-led entrepreneurship, and agritech advancements led to a large delegation being invited by UNESCAP. The forum focused on investing in inclusive agribusinesses, perfectly aligning with Telangana's development goals.
Telangana's delegation, led by Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan , IAS included innovation ecosystem leaders: Ajit Rangnekar , CIO of Telangana and Sujit Jagirdar , CIO of T-Hub. They actively shared their expertise through workshops, panels, and keynotes. Importantly, the forum also offered valuable learnings for Telangana in areas like policy discussions, impact measurement, and gender-focused analysis.
These insights will be crucial in strengthening the state's initiatives for inclusive agribusinesses. The invitation to the forum itself highlights Telangana's successful model for fostering a dynamic and inclusive agricultural ecosystem.
