Fostering an Exceptional Creative Community

At RSM Design, one of our key values is “People First” and how best to express this than to support SEGD during their 50th Anniversary. Our team has been a part of the EGD industry for over 25 years and we believe SEGD fosters an exceptional creative community. Together, we have been growing our support of the industry in order to better advocate for design excellence, the interest and education of young designers, and promote the importance of design in large and small-scale projects. SEGD is a global network of like-minded design professionals that come together through community, education, and mentorship. We cannot wait for the future experiential graphic design and for RSM Design to continue our partnership with SEGD, doing what we love.?

There are many great attributes of SEGD that we recognize as core values at RSM Design. One example is comradery and friendships – a strong community is what we strive to achieve as a studio. Looking towards the future of RSM Design, we also look at SEGD, and our three studios actively involved in the organization's activities and social events. By joining SEGD, together firms can participate in shaping the future of the design industry. It is each of our responsibility to contribute to the development of best practices, education, standards, and innovation in our industry beyond the “ I only design” mentality. Experiential graphic design is about inspiring communities through stories, art, placemaking, and overall improving our spaces and experiences. In addition, designers can take advantage of networking opportunities and gain access to resources and information to improve their services and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in design.

A goal of SEGD is to promote the value of design excellence as a strategic tool for firms. To achieve this, the organization works to raise awareness of the importance of excellence in design and advocates for the role of designers in shaping the future of the projects, spaces, and places that we get the opportunity to work on.?
