My recent trip to Denmark help me understand some large corporations such as Stena has already started their electromoblity journey since a few years ago. The Stena Jutlandica carry us, as well as 1000kwh Energy Storage System (ESS) operating between Sweden and Denmark. Her ESS is charged from renewable electricity from shore. The system replace one or two auxiliary engines when maneuvering in port and is used for other electric consumption onboard. 1500 tonnes of carbon footprint per year is reduced!

A big ship can turn quickly in fossile free journey as well.?
