Fosroc Update - 6th April 2020

To ensure clear communication I plan to upload an update every Monday via Linked In. 

As it stands it continues to be business as normal for the Fosroc business with stocks looking good and the sales team WFH.  We remain operational and delivering materials across the UK and even have our collection facility open as normal in line with HSE guidelines.

We are however aware of the speed that the COVID19 issue is moving and therefore as part of the management team in Fosroc we are attending daily Microsoft Teams meetings to ensure our approach and therefore our business remains stable. 

Some of the key areas of points to mention include:-

• We have a robust supply chain which as it stands is working as planned.  Raw materials are coming in sales orders are going out. There are however a number of unknowns regards supply that face us all.
• Internal staff are working on a tailored pattern of work – this is designed to alternate time spend in the office together and therefore continue work unaffected.
• Our specification and marketing team including the CAD drawing team are isolating to ensure continued service.
• Key parts of the business are WFH to ensure continuity of service, production, operations and logistics.
• A key ‘Essentials’ product list has been produced which outlines are production of key products throughout this crisis. A number of other products are also included in this including Renderoc LA60, DS, DSR and Patchroc 250 providing a ‘fast return to service’ offer for infrastructure projects across the land.
