Foshan-Africa Economic and Trade Exchange Event: Consular Delegation in Guangzhou Visits MUST

To further explore the potential of the African market, enhance the quality of Foshan's foreign trade, and promote economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Foshan and Africa, the "Foshan-Africa Economic and Trade Exchange Event" was successfully held on September 20, organized by the Foshan Foreign Affairs Bureau and the Foshan Commerce Bureau.

MUST, as one of the first visiting enterprises in Chancheng District, warmly welcomed consular officials from ten African countries and key leaders from the Foshan Foreign Affairs Bureau, with over 40 participants in total. The company’s president, Wu Zhanghua, accompanied the delegation throughout the visit, providing a detailed introduction to MUST’s operational status, corporate culture, and global market strategy.

African Market: A Key Focus for MUST

MUST regards Africa as one of its most important business expansion regions. During the discussion, the regional head shared insights into the current status and development prospects of the company in the African market. MUST focuses on providing off-grid solar home solutions tailored to the realities of many regions in Africa, where infrastructure is weak and electricity supply is limited. Since 2023, the company has established offices in South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia, and Egypt, actively recruiting local talent to expand its market and serve local customers.

A Compact Schedule to Foster In-Depth Exchanges

In line with the economic and trade needs of Foshan and Africa, the Foshan Commerce Bureau arranged a rich itinerary for this event, including trade and investment matching sessions, one-on-one meetings between Foshan enterprises and African companies, and interactive exchanges with industrial parks, businesses, and chambers of commerce. This initiative aims to help Foshan enterprises better understand market dynamics in Africa, learn from international experiences, and promote their expansion into the African market.

Strengthening Friendly Cooperation for Mutual Benefit

This event not only built a bridge for economic and trade cooperation between Foshan and Africa but also laid a foundation for friendship and mutual understanding between the two regions. MUST will continue to actively promote friendly exchanges between the people of Foshan and Africa, strengthen cooperative relationships, and jointly create a new situation of win-win cooperation.
